my cousin is getting married this year in may,..they were looking out for something exotic and romantic:)something different...i India though..any suggestions? also they are planning their trip in june...so please suggest accordingly(season wise i mean:)didnt wana suggest them the run of the mill types...i am sure you'll have super ideas here:)

In South India,there are good places like Karwar,which is an hours drive or so from Goa,endless stretches of sea n sand.Other place would be Coorg,they could stay in a resort there with estates all around.
OOty and Kodaikanal is kinda become too boring.June otherwise will not be crowded in most of the places,as school vacations would be over by then.
Yes other option could be Kerala.

Beaches are all gonna be rained out and useless cause they will not be able to swim.... So their only bet will be the mountains....
Kashmir if they haven't been and are a bit adventurous types.... ideally I would suggest Leh & Ladakh.... should be ideal period to go...
If they are really looking at something very top of the line then they can visit Ananda Spa and resort (near Rishikesh) and also combine some white water rafting experience if they are the types...

Its an awsome location with a beautiful property.
Would recommend the latter.

Leaving Munnar / Tekkedi/ Aleppey / Kumargoum......all regular places with lot n lots of people there........my vote is for Wayanad. Its less densly populated and with adequite amenities and well connected by road/air. This place is wonderful and is most suited with some of the cottages / resorts in the middle of the forest. They ll give u all the peace you want :)

Go to Nivalink.com and check out the following(they have pictures, so you can shop around before committing to anything). I like the Neemrana group of properties anywhere. In Darjeeling, New Elgin and Gymkhana Club are nice. Rambagh Bungalows or Redroofs in Rambagh/Mukteshwar(Kumaon). A friend is going to Kalmatia Sangam in Almora for her anniversary in April and their website is quite beautiful. Great views and lovely cottages. (But again depends on the season).
