What interests you most?
Scenic beauty,history,leisure,the sea-?
Decisions are then easier to take-
if you want to see the breath taking Alps-then in ten days you can do Austria-over the Alps by Eurail and then Italy-full ten days and more
Or London-Paris-Amsterdam another fab circuit with everything in it
Amsterdam-I was born in some life there-!!Belgium(ooohhh the chocolats and laces)Denmark
Or Spain and that bit of the world
or the Medit

Well as per me,

I took a week tour, and this is how it was.
Though this was based on cheap flight tickets
from wizzair, skyeurope, and ryan air.

I left from Budapest.

Budapest, Hungary - to - Paris, France.
2 days in Paris was enough for me,
as I had a friend from there.

Paris, France - to - Rome, Italy.
You can see all the major attractions of Rome in 2 days too.
But remember, that the museum at the Vatican is open
only till afternoon. I missed that, as we went after 2pm.
Oh and be there at spanish steps in the evening.

Rome, Italy - to - Milan, Italy.
Milan is a one day thing. Dont miss the city center at night,
or even during the day. And dont let the shopping temptation take over you.
I went berserk with all those shops out there.

Milan, Italy - to - Bergamo, Italy.
Well Bergamo is the place where the airport is, for Milan.
It looked fantastic from above, and as we were done with
Milan in a day, we spent the other in Bergamo.
Its a beautiful place, with the cobblestone roads,
and very traditional, still looks like run by a king,
if you go inside the castle walls, that is.

Bergamo, Italy - to - Budapest, Hungary.
Hungary does not come in the Schengen countries,
otherwise I would have definitely asked you
to stop in Budapest. A wonderful place, and very beautiful.

You can even go to Vienna and Prague too.
They are also very beautiful cities.

I have a few pics here, maybe that will help you decide.
Though I went at the Christmas time to all these places.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

First you have to decide what interests you. If you want history, beautiful azure waters, and sun then Corfu, Greece should be your destination. We are a yacht charter company based here in Corfu, Greece and operate all over Greece, besides yacht chartering we also book hotels, villas and studios. We also have air ticketing.

I suggest London, Paris, Rome and may be Florence (one day).

I haven't been to Italy yet, but, I do have a book "Ancient Rome", about 500 pages with pictures from the Roman empire.:-)).

London and Paris are beautiful, Paris is an expensive city. May want to check out hostels for accomodation.

Check out www.hostelworld.com for reasonable accomodations.

Cheers,

Ernie

Hey Shaila

My advice is decide a place / country and c it in toto. I spent 15 days in europe in oct and covered Italy and Paris with Versailles. Loved it thoroughly. better than hopping thru different places and just seeing a bit of everything.

I went to monza, milan, venice, florence, pisa, monterrosso, rome, naples, paris and versailles. I spent over 7 hours in the vatican alone, spent 2 nights in a camping village and also saw the ancient ruins of pompei. enjoyed every bit of it ncluding the lovely train journey thru italy.

ur take on u wanna bit of diff countries or the chunk in one country.

hv fun

Hi All, Thanks so much for these response. Ismail, just loved your description of places and am now keen to follow that route. My sure shot is Paris, London, Vienna, Florence & Rome. I think for the first time, it's best I take a tour to many destinations and decide which are the places I'd like to be for longer in my second trip (If I'm not broke by then;).

Any suggestions on a good travel agent..?

Hi Shaila,

I would suggest, that you plan your trip first.
Then decide whether you want to go by Eurail
or the cheap flights (they save ALOT of time).

If your option is Eurail,
(you will have the best countryside views ever)
then you have to go to just one agent,
and get it all done.
I got a lot of help from Raj Travels here in Hyderabad.
They even book your eurail, if i am not wrong.

If you take the other option, that is cheap flights,
Then you need to decide the entry and exit country of Europe,
and then book the flights accordingly during that tenure.
You will need a credit card.

You will get a very good deal, if the date of journey
is at least 2 months later in the year.
Otherwise also its pretty cheap.
Just to take a peek,
www.skyeurope.com
www.wizzair.com
www.easyjet.com
www.ryanair.com

These are the better ones in Europe.
Otherwise also there are a few more.

If you need anything more, feel free to buzz me back.
:)

Take care, and best of luck deciding where all to go :D
