Mayank Baid | | Hi!!!
We (few friends) are planning to go to Kolad this monsoon or early june. We are excited for the water sports mainly river rafting and kayaking, which we read on some sites. But we are not clear as in which place provides what sport. There are few places to stay which i read on some site. (HANS, Dr. Farm, etc)
If anyone had been to these places or is involved in water sports activities at Kolad, please let us know.
Mayank

Mayank Baid | | Hahaha!!! You don't need to be embarassed, as i also came to know abt this place only by last year. I had a fracture so cud not go there. Its 135 kms from Mumbai on Mumbai-Goa Highway.
I saw it on one of the news channel which broadcast a show "Weekend Gateway". Its nice as you are there around nature and there are lot of adventure sports happening. Surprisingly river rafting was one of that. These resorts / hotels are booked almost a month in advance.
SO we thought of booking it right now and visit it in early monsoon. And if its really fun then we can go there again right during the monsoon.
You can check out on google. search for "Kolad" or HANS resort or Doctor's Farm.
Enjoyyyyy

VA Abraham | | You can speak to Gabby Gonsalves, who owns Sai Farms, which is next to doctor farm.
Incidently right now I do not have his number. But if you are interested, then send me a PM, and I shall give you the number later.
Gabby does have rafting at his farm.
Regards,
