I am Nikunj from Kurukshetra and seen your post and i am member of some travel clubs like www.couchsurfing.com in which people can stay with other travellers and it helps in friendship and peace.
If you want you can visit kurukshetra and can stay with me and my family for day or two and also it is very near to kurukshetra and hope you can find this city quiet and peaceful.

Dharamshala/Mcleodganj could be a good option though the choice itself is off beat. While there u can stay at Chinar Lodge@ Mcleodganj (www.chinarlodge.com)

Hi Mohanram I indeed appriciate your choice as Dharamshala/Mcleodganj has been my fav too, last year I was here for 6th time but not anymore. But indeed its beautiful, awsome.
